A zipped document is a document that has been put into a zip folder which compresses the file to a smaller file size. Sometimes, these zipped folders have passwords to keep them secure. If you get tired of having to enter the password every time you need to look at a document, remove the password from the zip folder. The task can be accomplished in just a few steps.
Difficulty: Moderately EasyInstructions1Right-click on the password-protected, zipped document.
2Select "Explore" from the right-click menu and enter the password to access the document, which will open the file.
3Click on the "File" menu once you're inside the zipped file that contains the document. Click on "Remove Password." The password is now removed.
